Autopsy reveals diver drowned

OCALA – An autopsy Monday revealed that the diver pulled from Forty Fathom Grotto in northwest Marion County on Sunday died of drowning.
Sheriff's spokesman James Pogue said that there were no surprises in the autopsy results for Sean Patrick Spiegel, 25.
Spiegel disappeared at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday after he and four friends went for a dive in the grotto. Sheriff's divers discovered Spiegel's body in a cave around 8:15 p.m. Sunday, roughly 105 feet from the surface.
