This year's festival runs Saturday along the shores of Lake Lillian, east of Belleview City Hall. The family festival runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and usually attracts thousands. It will be stocked with many arts and crafts, the Marion County Fire and Sheriff's Office demonstrations and Belleview Idol 5, the annual singing contest.
Idol entry is free. Participants can gather at an orientation and registration at 9:30 a.m. (and bring two karaoke-style songs). The show starts at 10 a.m. The newest addition will be the Nine Mile Pond Classic Car Show.
