Baby shower venue

I am looking for a cheap place to have a baby shower. I would like it to be in Belleview/Ocala area. It doesn't have to be big. I will be having finger foods,so no restaurants. Any help would be great.

what about at a church banquet hall or a local park?

I was at the Baseline Trail last weekend and someone was having a baby shower in one of the pavilions. It's not far from Belleview. You can also check out Carney Island they rent out their pavilions.

Cherokee Park used to rent their building in Belleview for around $35.00. It is by Suntrust and the fire department in Belleview right off of 441. There used to be a number posted for contacts on the bulletin board onsite.

I contacted Cherokee Park. They said they don't want any children in there. I was like what.

Well that stinks! I have not rented from them in a number of years. Too bad cause they have a little kitchen, plenty of tables, etc. The building is very out dated though, you would have had to do quite a bit of decorating.

My friend used it a couple months ago and it was perfect. She assured the lady there would be no kids ,but there were. Don't feel like fighting with anyone.
