On December 8th, Claire Jones-Hughes invited mothers to participate in a breastfeediing flash mob. She'd been told to stop feeding her baby in a cafe and was fed up. As the founder of Brighttonmums.com, she tapped into her online community to spread the word. "We have chosen a central public venue, where there is space to be seated but also be noticed," she wrote.

That day, 40 moms showed up at the Clock Tower and breastfed their babies in front of Christmas shoppers.

What a way to make a point!  Would you participate in something like this if you felt that it would bring attention to the cause?

I LOVE IT!!

I think it is beautiful.

Yes I would. I love this cause people need to knw that god has givin us breats so we can feed our babies not for men to look at.

I don't see anything wrong with it and yeah if I could I would have participated.

Oh that's so cool! I would have joined in too!

Awww look at how tiny the babies are and so focused on BFing. Sadly my 3 yr old nurslings acrobats would make sitting at a BFing flashmob undoable. If I knew he would sit still or if it was done here when he was younger I def. would do it...Good for them. I wish there wasn't a need to do it. I don't believe I've seen a flash mob of parents expressing the right to feed by bottle whereever their child needs to be fed.

Beautiful!

Lol, my 22 month-old daughter would be more focused on running around than BFing :-)
I heard that many moms that were unable to BF also supported the BF mob.....we are coming a long way as a society :-)  I hope moms here (America)  learn to help each other and not engage in the *mommy wars* over differences.
