I had told my hubby when we were dating that I would love to be at the beach or the mountains... I thought it would be awesome. Well... After a funeral we headed to the beach. I didn't want to but we did. I had NO idea what was going on but later found out that everyone at the funeral KNEW! We went and had dinner and then he wanted to walk along the beach. There he was in his suit with his pants legs rolled up and me in my dress. He casually said this would be a pretty spot to propose to someone and I said yes it would. He then proceeds to get down on one knee in the sand and popped the question. :-) I told him to get up out of the sand and he said you didn't answer me! Of course the answer was yes!! Wonderful memories!!!
