Moving to the area, looking for summer school age daycare

We are moving to the Ocala or Belleview area in July and need somewhere affordable for our 5 school age children to be during the day. We have very affordable Boys and Girls clubs here in TN, is there anything like that available in the summer in Ocala?

Where do school age kids usually go in the summer there?

Thanks!

We do have a boys and girls club with very reasonable prices. There are numerous camp programs offered here in Ocala. View www.ocala.com and search for summer camp programs. I do believe I seen the link a few days ago. If not just google it. Good luck on your move!

If you go to the top content slider at the top of our page, you'll see it scroll around to a summer camp list. That is one place to get started. There's also the YMCA but it is not inexpensive. (to me it's not ;)) They do offer scholarships there but they also have summer programs. There's a lot of wonderful camps this year depending on if you want art, horse themed, sports etc. :) Good luck and welcome to the area!

You should contact Family Ties Learning Care Center at 352-854-3998. The owner/directors, Ken and Karen Hagenhoff, are wonderful and offer a school aged summer program at both of their locations. (one off of West SR 40 near 60th ave/airport Rd and the other on Baseline rd.) They also have a full day care for 6 months and up with VPK and have after school program too. I have had all 3 of my older kids in different programs with them, and if I go back to work (which may not happen becaus I am really blessed to have the chance to be a stay at home mom!) I'll send my now 7 month old to them as well.
