Need help, must buy tires!

I have been putting it off as long as possible but the tread is worn on all my tires and my car is wobbling. technical term :-) it's been so long since I shopped for tires that I don't even know where to begin. Has anyone bought recently? Who's good, where should I stay away from?

We just recently bought from Johnson Tire (off of Magnolia). They have been around FOREVER. It is kind of a good ole boy shop, but they got me a good price!

We just went to Family Tire a couple of months ago and they were a lot cheaper than anywhere else! The tires for my car are a little pricey. Also, I met the owner when my husband sent me there and he was super nice.

I've always bought my tires from Sams and have always had great service and found their prices to be very competitive!

Ok, thanks everyone! Tomorrow I will call for quotes and hopefully get set up before I go out town next weekend. Hate the expense but have to do it as my mechanic told me not to drive very far on them in their current condition :-\

My hubby is in the tire business. :) he's a wholesaler ... He said bills wholesale is a good place.

Be careful of used tires from there. I have received a couple from there and they were bad. I even told the owner that one of the tires didn't look right and he said it was fine. Two hours later I was stuck at the movie theater with a flat tire that he said was fine.
