New to area....looking for a salon that does great work but reasonable prices

My family and I have just moved here a little over a month ago from Indiana. I am wanting to find that beautician that i can go to, and leave one happy customer. I am a red head so I'm VERY picky about my hair but I'm one that loves to have highlights done. I am also a person that once i find that beautician, I'll be their devoted customer. Back home I had a choice of privately owned salons that i could go to, have my hair highlighted, cut and my eyebrows done for $40. I love the way they do my hair that i'd do almost anything to have them move where ever i go. Lol. But my family here don't really know of any place  you can go and have that beautician like I want and that are reasonable with their prices. I know that I probably won't find that price range but I'm a little too much of a tightwad that I don't want to end up spending almost $100 bucks. If you know of a place that I can go and end up having that comfort of going back to them, please let me know! Thanks for reading and hope you have a good day!

Oh boy, I was a master stylist and colorist for nearly 20yrs and I have never heard of anywhere in So Fl or here in Slocala to charge that little for highlights, cut and brows. I charge that for just the cut..Heck most place charge at least $10 for waxing. I'd say you were lucky to find those prices but mostlikely will never find that around here. Maybe a chain salon you might get it all done for around $75-80 but not positive. However, if someone is good they will take the time to talk to you before you ever set and appt. Also, it ostlikely will be trail and error til youfid someone you like you may go through 5 or 6 different stylist before you find one you actually like.

Welcome to town!!:) I honestly am not sure on the highlights as I pretty much quit having mine done.;) I know that a lot of mom on here have their.faves so hopefully.they will share:) good luck!

Silver Line Design in Belleview does great work and is very reasonable. The mens cuts are 10.00 and ladies start at 15.00 they also do nails, facials, waxings and massages. They are located across the street from the KMart Shopping Center on 441 S. in Belleview.

Bert at Neon on South Magnolia:  352.629.7001 or Nona & Miss Colleen at Key West hair salon further south on Magnolia (S-curve) 352.351.2991 are great for the ladies and girls and Don at Big Al's on NE 8th Avenue (just north of the 24 hour walgreens is great for hte kids, plus it's only $8...no phone there but they take walk-ins all day long...

Salon De Beaute is very best and I have very good experiences there. I think you should try them. They offer great services. I only trust Bihn with my brows, she does an excellent job and also has reasonable prices. She does an awesome facial as well. Go and get fully satisfied there.
