You can also go to Pioneer Garden Club, they have a beautiful place for weddings. Another place you can check is the Holiday Inn by Sams Club. You can also check with the Florida Carriage Museum, they have beautiful grounds and you can ask to have the bride brought to the ceremony on a horse drawn carriage. There are a lot of beautiful parks in this area, just check with Park and Recreation to see which are available for weddings. You can even have it downtown on the square with the Gazebo as the center for the ceremony. The days are lovely this time of the year and chance of rain are almost zero. Good luck have a great time.
We had our wedding 5 years ago at the Ramada, we got their banquet hall for $500 ...
The owner of Betty Cakes in the "Your Hearts Desire" shop located between Staples and Mother Earth, does weddings at her private residence, outside. It is a pretty place for a small outdoor wedding. I believe she caters the food and of course you can get a GREAT "Betty Cake" through her bakery.
Their number is 352-622-3727. The cake decorator at Betty Cakes, Shelly, does awesome cake decorating. She can do just about anything you want on a cake. And the cakes taste SUPERB.
I know Silver Springs does it for small or large weddings. Pioneer Garden is good (that's where I got married) but may be a bit big for a small wedding.
Im not sure if they allow you to rent out parts of the property but it might be worth a phone call. Shalom Park off of 80th Ave. is so pretty and quiet. It is outdoors but that would be nice this time of year. Also, I know a good DJ that is pretty reasonable if you are looking for one of those. Good luck!

Call me at 402-4344 and please go to our website to see our beautiful location. Look forward to hearing back from you!
