My daughter came home from school with two free tickets for the kids, and on them it says you can go to the website and get buy one, get one free adult tickets.

The reviews on ticketmaster were 2.3 / 5 (121 Reviews)

http://reviews.ticketmaster.com/7171/854940/piccadilly-circus-revie...

I would check out the reviews and either be prepared with extra money or don't take any money, lol. :)

They mailed a bunch of free children's admissions tickets ages 13 and under to my office.  It also says on there Adults Buy One Get One Free online.  Please feel free to stop by and take a few.  They are on my front counter.  ChiropracticUSA 2100 SE 17th Street, Suite 801

Ocala.com and Star Banner are having a drawing for a free family pack of tickets, you can enter here:

I read some of the reviews on Ticketmaster like the previous poster suggested and i have to say im a little disappointed...the reviews were mostly bad! Has anyone had any good experiences with it?

We went to one that was ironically similar to this, with a different name.

We did not take extra money, and my son knew that, but they trick you into dishing it out for those that do. Like saying stuff like "Who wants their picture with Sponge Bob?" All the kids yell, ME... and then they collect $5 or $10 for each one. Or.. the one we were at, they had a "Who wants to win a great prize?" and they charge ya $5 for a coloring book and like 2 kids out of 30 win a prize. I would suggest (since you already have tickets) take a bag of stuff: your own glow necklaces, & huge suckers from Dollar Tree, and take them out when everyone else buys theirs.

Look at it this way:There will probably be things you will like, knowing what you know ahead of time, you won't be as disappointed when you get there. :) Your kids will probably still like it and that's really who it's for. My son said it was boring, but he's been to Barnum and Bailey Circus too.  You could always take the kids to DQ after for not buying anything. I "might" go if it was free, but just to get out of the house.

I went to the Piccadilly Circus last year and was extremely disappointed. I thought that the Ocala Shrine Circus was considerably better and cleaner.

We had purchased our tickets online, but when we arrived they weren't even checking tickets and everyone was just walking in. It was inside an open building like they use for horse shows with stadium type seating on either side and some "premier" seating in the dirt surrounding the main show. The poor elephant for the elephant ride had a permanent marking along its side from the carrier it was made to wear, and he also had rusty chains around his feet. In the show a young girl was hanging from his tusk. There were many children working and performing at that circus.

There was a mule in the pony ride, and they all looked miserable just slowly and continually going around in circles. The worst part was the boxing Kangaroo. They wheeled out a black cargo type box, and then pulled out a Kangaroo attached to a leash with its hands bound. Then they brought it into the ring and teased him and made him "box" them. I will never forget the Kangaroos head just dropping back. In my opinion the entire experience was just horrifying. I'm not even sure if I will ever go back to another circus ever again.

Sorry for the disappointing review, but the Piccadilly Circus was too shocking not to say anything. If you must go to a circus this year then try the Ocala Shrine Circus or something else. I hope the Piccadilly Circus has cleaned up their act, it was just shameful.

I'm so glad I canceled my tickets on time and got a refund...i cannot stomach animals being abused. After reading some of the reviews on ticketmaster and then what the moms said here I made the decision not to go, instead I'm taking my daughter to ringling brothers tonight in jacksonville.

I was also horrified by the poor kangaroo. It was disturbing. Way to Go  Yaumara Mijares for changing plans for everyone involved! Let us know how you enjoy the Ringling Bros. show tonight! :)

Wow that is horrible! I can't believe how people treat animals for a dollar in their pocket. My son has recently gotten hooked on watching the Big Cat Rescue YouTube videos .  I am glad there are people like them to help rescue these animals. It is very sad seeing the conditions they come out of.

The show was amazing!!! There were people protesting right infront of the arena and I did feela little bad at first. The show was very nice, the animals looked well fed and healthy, animals at a circus is not my favorite thing but they were treated humanly in my eyes, my daughter loved the show and I was not disappointed! Nothing bad to say... All the acts were wonderful

That's great to hear you all had a great time at the circus! :)
