I am sad to report that attendance for anti-bullying meetings has dwindled.  I had originally put them on Wednesdays from 6-7pm.  Parents complained that it was too much during the week.  So it was changed to every other week.  Then I heard  complaints that this was too late.

What is really upsetting is that the kids were really into these meetings.  They had so much to talk about, express, learn, and share with the other kids.  They put their hearts out and were brutally honest about the things they go through.  It's the parents who don't want to make the effort to bring and pick up their children.

I refuse to give up on this.  It's too important to quit.  If any parents would consider an earlier hour, maybe 5-6 on Mondays or Wednesdays, please let me know.  Or if you have any other suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

I think maybe trying an earlier time would work. I hope it works out because this is such a great idea and very much needed.
