We wanted to let you all know about a new feature on OcalaMom. Previously, the terms allowed no advertising in posts on our site. But because we know there are many members who are starting family businesses, and moms like to support other moms, we are slightly changing the terms.

 

Members will be allowed to post about upstarting businesses, but the posts must be made here in this discussion thread only. Any and all posts are still subject to editor discretion, and if we feel a post is inappropriate, we will be able to delete the post. Also, if a post is made in the wrong category, the post will be deleted or moved to this forum. This forum is for established members (25 posts or more) only! We appreciate your understanding and know that you will respect these terms :-)  

 

And just to clarify, these posts may not include actual advertisements. The posts are just to let us know about your business. :-) If a post includes an actual advertisement, it will be removed, and the poster will be referred to The Star Banner's advertising department.

My name is Claire Parkin, and I have been professionally riding and training horses for over 10 years. My husband and I just bought our first farm and I have started my own business giving riding lessons to children, as well as hosting birthday parties with lead-line pony rides. I specialize in young riders (my youngest student is 4) with all levels of experience. I will teach them about the riding industry, showing, basic horse care, as well as help them develop a solid riding foundation so that they can become successful in any equestrian discipline they choose. Hi... I would like to let you know that I have a beautiful in home Licensed Daycare in

Southeast Ocala.  We have scheduled curriculum, art, reading time,2 outside playtimes,

 2 full meals and snacktime.

I currently have openings for children ages 2 to 5.  Please call for tour or interview..

I would highly recommend Marie if you are looking for a loving, learning environment for your little one.  She has cared for my son over the years and there is no one that I would trust more with him.  She is also recommended by Dr. Cheryl Hawk from Ocala Pediatrics.

Licensed In home daycare openings (Baseline, porter shores)
Hello, my name is Dannielle and I have an in home daycare. I am located off of baseline road. I have been in business for four years. I'm licensed,certified,CPR, and inspected by DCF. This is a clean,smoke free caring, in home environment. I have a large fenced in backyard with play equipment suitable for all ages. There is a daily curriculum that is followed and the children enjoy it. I provide all meals, snacks and drinks. We follow the infant and child nutrition guidelines. I've recently received from the state of Florida a license to expand and take more children. I'm taking children 2yrs+ so if your interested please call me at 352-624-1560 before 12:00 or after 2:00.

Hello everyone,

 

Just letting everyone know I am starting my pet sitting business back up, Sloppy Kisses Pet Sitting (i stopped a few years ago when my son was born). I do in home pet sittings. So I basically come to your home and let your pet out, feed it, have play time. I'm experienced in dogs, cats, ferrets, turtles, snakes, guinea pigs, fish etc. I service the Ocala area and have been in business on and off for about 25 years. I mainly did it on the side here and there, holidays were the busiest times. But I will be doing this full time starting in August. Of course I am available now if anyone needs me :-) I am available for day/night visits, on weekends and holidays and I have references I can provide.
