I'm Jen. I am mom to one wild and rowdy 6 year old boy that I homeschool and love it. We moved here to Ocala in 2008 and have enjoyed it ever since. It has definitely been and adventure and I look forward to what's in store ahead. I both love/don't love living close to the theme parks, beach etc. This means we can typically go on "vacation" whenever we want but it also means we typically come back home to spend the night ;) LOL So let's hear those stories moms!

I don't mind,thank you.Once we get all settled in I want to have some play dates.Looking forward to the kids making new friends and meeting new people.

My name is Clare and I am a mother of two girls, 7 and 8 and a 3 year old boy. My husband and I have been married for nine years and he is disabled. We are very new to the area and so far we are liking it a lot. I was born and raised in the United Kingdom. I met my husband online and moved to the states in 2003. I have been a stay at home mother for the last nine years and I am now trying to get back to working, so I can provide for my family. If anyone knows somewhere that is willing to give a stay at home mum a chance with employment, please let me know. I would very much appreciate it. I would love to meet new people and make new friends :) Clare

Hello, I'm Katie and I have a 16 month old baby boy. I was a teacher up until just before he was born. I now work part time at a daycare and am seeking students to tutor. My little one is a loud and active little guy and I am hoping to meet up with some other moms that have babies close in age to mine that would like to meet up in the early afternoon or evening to do something fun and make some babies tired before bedtime.

Hi Katie! Welcome to Ocala Mom! :) I'm glad you are here. It's nice to "meet" you. There are several groups that meet up on here and also we try to have park days where we can all get together. Hope to see you at one soon!
