Three year old preschool program

Hello, my family is new to Ocala and I am having a hard time finding a three year old preschool program that isn't all day long five days a week. I am looking for something a few mornings a week to give my daughter an opportunity to play with some other kids and have an introduction to some basic curriculum. Of course we do lots of stuff at home, but she sees her big sister going to school and wants to go to school too! We live on the southwest side of town, and so far I have only found one school that could "maybe" have a part time student, but only if there is another student to balance out the days my daughter would not attend. Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated! Even if there might be some classes she could enroll in through a rec center or something. Thanks!

Grace Building Blocks is a wondeful school! My 3 year old attends two days a week from 9 - 11:45 am and really enjoys the programs.  You can choose to attend 2, 3 or 5 half days. The number is 629-4523

Grace building blocks,blessed trinity-angels in arms, happy hearts or st. Pauls. We also have private schools with part time school options. We have grace school, cornerstone,redeemer christian and st. Johns. The schools I mentioned are excellent! I hope this helps!

Also, I just saw what side of town you live on and kinderoo is a great preschool that has been around for years!

Happy Hearts has 3 day a week programs and 5 day a week programs for 3 year olds.  The hours are 8:30-12.  They have been in Ocala for over 65 years with an amazing reputation!  622-7636.

Grace School has a K3 program that is AWESOME!  My oldest has been through their preschool and my youngest starts next year. The have a 2, 3 or 5 day option. If I remember correctly their hours are 8:00 - 11:00 or 11:30. It is a FABULOUS school and the kids do alot of curricular activities including a lot of science! The number for the school is 387-3090

Thank you for all the suggestions! I will look into Grace, that seems to have a good reputation and just the type of program I'm looking for. My oldest is finishing VPK at kinderoo, and they are very nice, but only offer full time for threes. I'm so glad I found this forum, we don't know anyone here yet, so I didn't have any local opions about the preschools here. Thanks again ladies!

Cornerstone and st. Johns are the other two popular private schools that have great reputations! They have the same options also.

Discovery Christian Learning Center on the campus of Central Christian Church offers part time as well  It is Located on N.E. 14th St.

My daughter is 4 and goes to First United Methodist Preschool. I love it. It is a preschool for 2-4 year olds only. I will be sad next year when she has to move on. Everyone is so friendly and caring. They have it where a child can go from 7:00am to I think 5:30 pm.You do have to provide their lunch. For the 4 year olds we have to bring in a morning snack for the class which is rotated between her class.They do provide an afternoon snack if they stay in the afternoon. It is located either right on Fort King Ave or Off Silver Springs Blvd. They do have a website too.It is http://www.ocalafirstpreschool.org/. Hope this helps.

Discovery Center has a once a week program thats a great stepping stone into preschool or kindergarten. It is mommy and me but great fun and lots of savvy moms in attendance. http://mydiscoverycenter.org/programs/early-learning-programs/
