Who's little one is sick?

I got a call yesterday and it was from my daughter, she told me that her daycare had called and my granddaughter had a fever of 102. We quickly picked her up and headed to the ER, as soon as we got there my daughters friend called and she had to go get her son because he had a fever of 101, they use the same daycare. I was very concerned because my granddaughter is only 11 months old and the other baby is 8 months old. There were a few kids that had the croup but were only out one day and were back playing with the other children. We were told that it was a virus and it was going around. Have any of you had the same experience lately? I was really concerned because she is so small and her fever spiked within hours of getting to the daycare.

Thankfully not recently but I remember those daycare calls. It is really tough with them in daycare. Some parents just send them sick and others just really don't care or don't have anyone to help out. It's tough and I hope your sweet granddaughter is better soon! Those high fevers are no fun and awfully scary!

Both of my daughter have high fevers. Friday night my 8 year old had a 105.3 and today my 4 year old had 103.3. They were diagnosed with the flu type A.

Oh my!!! I hope they get better soon! That is super scary when their fevers get that high...

So far my daughter has been sick, high fevers as well as other issues I took her in and she was diagnosed with strep throat as well as the flu. She is finally better but has past it to me I only hope it stops here and does not go to anyone else in the house.

Our granddaughter is doing much better, it took 5 days to work out of her system. She had a high fever then diarrhea. She threw up once which helped to lower the fever but she had some rough nights getting up every hour. I hate it when they are that small and don't understand what is going on.
