We are still new to the area and we just found out we are expecting #3. I just want to get some real mom inputs. I would like some reviews on your hospital experience with labor and delivery. I would love a water birth but i done think hospital in the area offer this. And does any one have obgyn offices recommendations or any that you don't recommend. Thank you in advance!See More

"there is no "bill" per say however, there is the maintence of the system, like salt, filters, etc. that varies depending on where you go to get the stuff. Also if you lose power you lose water to your house as well. System runs on…"

"I have well water on Ocala/Belleview line and I have no problems with it.  We drink it right out of the tap with no issues."

"There is city water in the city limits of Ocala, it is the outlying areas that have well water. I moved to a place 6 months ago that is well.  We don't drink it, I have one of those filter pitchers and it works great!!."

Homes in Ocala with well water

Hello, My family and I are moving into the Ocala are in a couple of weeks and looking for a house, we currently live in Kissimmee ( city water ). I have seen many Houses in the area that have well water. Just wondering what its like in ocala? Are there many cases of contamination or frequentcy? I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old so it does concern me with small children. Younger I remember my friend had well water and it has an odor of eggs. Thank you in advance!See More

I don't like to offend people, so I usually message on here when it comes to stuff like this. The obgyns here are careless except Dr. Johnson! I have heard and read horror stories. Dr. Marquette is the doctor over Midwives of Ocala, and he delivered John Travolta's baby... however, he can be so careless and snobby  and things happen. He told my friend that she needed a DNC because of her miscarriage, but that medicaid wouldn't cover it. However, she found out later that they do cover it. She ended up in the hospital four times and the NRP told her that she could have passed away! I mean a lot of people love him, but he is just careless and the online reviews prove it. Good luck with everything!
